The Superlative AppThe Superlative
Circle
Because a daily practice is easier to keep when you have people doing it alongside you, the Circle gives you a quiet, ongoing place to return to. Ask a question. Share what’s working. Sit alongside practitioners who get exactly what you’re doing—and who keep showing up, week after week, for years to come.
Meditate in good company. Group meditation sessions and a private WhatsApp community of fellow practitioners—a place to sit together, ask questions, and keep your practice alive long after the course ends.
Measured,
Not Just Felt
In a pilot study, a group of professionals practiced Vedic Meditation for six weeks. Their progress was measured weekly using standardized clinical assessments— and the shift was clear.
Well-being Restored
Participants entered the study below the clinical threshold for distress. Within six weeks, they had crossed into sustained wellbeing, a 36% improvement across individual, relational and professional measures.
Sleep Improved
Sleep quality rose 57%, with participants reporting deeper, more restorative rest starting in the very first week, and holding steady throughout the study.
Productivity Increased
A consistent, week-over-week climb, 38% higher by the end of six weeks, with no plateau.
Consistency Sustained
At week six, participants were still practicing at 92% consistency. For context, meditation apps retain fewer than 5% of users after 30 days.

What is the Superlative Method, and how does it relate to Vedic Meditation?
At the core of Superlative is Vedic Meditation—a 5,000-year-old practice taught in four immersive sessions. The Superlative Method is the full system Susan Chen has built around it: continuous one-on-one support, group meditations, advanced techniques, the Superlative App, and a private community of practitioners. Vedic Meditation is what you learn; the Superlative Method is how you sustain and deepen it for life.
What is Vedic Meditation?
Vedic Meditation is a natural, effortless technique practiced for 20 minutes twice a day, sitting comfortably with eyes closed. It uses a personally assigned mantra—a specific sound—to settle the mind into a state of deep rest without concentration or control. The technique originates from the ancient Vedic tradition of India.
Is Vedic Meditation the same as Transcendental Meditation (TM)?
They come from the same lineage—Maharishi Mahesh Yogi—and use the same core technique. The main difference is that TM is taught through a trademarked organization, while Vedic Meditation is taught by independent teachers who trained in the same classical tradition. Susan Chen trained with Thom Knoles, one of the world’s leading Vedic Meditation teachers, and built the Superlative Method around this lineage for high-functioning professionals.
How quickly will I notice results?
Most students notice improved sleep quality within the first week of practicing. Reductions in baseline anxiety typically emerge within 30 days of consistent practice. Sustained improvements in focus, resilience, and energy are commonly reported at the 60-90 day mark.
Do I need prior meditation experience?
No experience is required—and prior experience is not an advantage. The Superlative method is taught from the ground up. Many of Susan’s most successful students had never meditated before.
What makes Susan Chen’s teaching different?
Susan trained directly with Thom Knoles in a lineage-transmission program—and has taught nearly 1,500 to meditate. She combines this classical training with 14 years of experience in high-stakes financial environments—which is why she built the Superlative Method around what elite professionals actually need from a daily practice.
